We were at it again!
Well, for this time, we didn’t emerge as the Top 3 teams… But we sure did impress the judges to warrant ourselves in the Top 10, despite tougher competition from other schools as compared to the previous year!
5 teams were sent to the Chips@School Competition (C@SC) 2017, organised by Infineon (Singapore): a competition where students would need to come up with conceptual ideas on how chips could be used to “Build a Smart Welfare City”, the theme of this year’s C@SC.

Team 2 – Phoebe Lim, Gilaine Ong, Muhammad Naqeeb, and Muhammad Isa (of 2E1)
While another team, Team 5, awed the judges with their impressive video on the “Emergency Response Chip“:

Team 5 – Javier Lee, Lee Mingxuan, and Janeese Tiang (of 2E3)
And not forgetting Team 3, for their noble idea of “Let’s Lend a Wrist“:

Team 3 – Muhammad Danial, Lynn Ng, and Nur Quraisyah (of 2E1)
For them to be amongst the shortlisted teams for the Finals, they had to present before a panel of industry-expert judges, comprising of two Management Personnel of Infineon, a Professor from SUTD, and the President of the Singapore Semiconductor Association.
